Reviews and Ratings
My stay in this hotel was simply wonderful. The location in charming Getsemani was my favorite part of town in Cartagena, surrounded by beautiful streets and nice bars & restaurants. The rooms were very comfortable, with high-ceiling showers and A/C; however, the 'suite' was not what I expected. The service was exceptional, and the staff even agreed to move us to a better room without any extra charge. The dining was good, allowing us to skip mid-day meals as we explored the town. The facilities were decent, meeting the expectations of this small boutique hotel while the noise from the streets was a downside.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were noisy due to their location next to the breakfast room, but they were surprisingly spacious and had a unique black bathroom that added a touch of intrigue. The service provided was a bit hit and miss, with an attempt to address a room change only resulting in a visit from a staff member with deodorant. Despite this, the location was vibrant and colorful, offering a welcome change from the touristy old town. The dining experience was enjoyable on the lovely, plant-filled terrace, yet the facilities left much to be desired.
Upon arrival, I found the hotel conveniently located in the Getsemani area of Cartagena, just a 5-minute walk from the Ciudad Amurallada. The beautiful garden with flowing water added a serene touch to the surroundings, making it a splendid choice for those seeking an authentic and charming neighborhood experience. However, I did notice that the rooms seemed unsafe with no emergency lighting, and the service, though friendly, occasionally mixed up orders, which was a bit disappointing given the hotel's pricing.
